Hurricane Panels

Most home improvement centers stores only stock five sizes of hurricane panels. The sizes they stock will fit your standard size windows and standard size sliding glass doors. Some offer custom sizes at an increase price or make you pay for the next largest stock size price. The production schedule can be anywhere from 6 - 12 weeks during hurricane season. Available sizes are limited and some may not have all the tracks and hardware you need to complete the job. The panels are often bent, dented or discoloration (aluminum oxidation has occurred) from the panels being stored outside from the previous hurricane season.

Hurricane Depot has 14 different sizes of aluminum .050 hurricane panels in stock. The .050 is our most popular selling hurricane panels and meets the Miami-Dade County building code. Our stock size may be 1" or 2" longer then what other stores consider a standard stock size. We carry a large volume of each size and may only run out if a hurricane watch is apparent.

Hurricane Depot does not charge extra for custom sizes and you only pay for what you order, The current production schedule for custom panels is 7-10 days as if April 1, 2024 (May increase during hurricane season). All stock sizes are available in our Miami warehouse.
