        Tips |

        |   |
        Get
a tape measure, pencil and paper.  A ladder may be required |

        |   |

Drawing a diagram of the house or structure maybe helpful. |

        |   |

Measure all opening from the outside. |

        |   |

Measure the width first and then the height and round to the nearest
inch if opening is not trapped. |

        |   |
        Note
any obstructions such as decorative stucco molding, window sills,
electrical boxes, meters, counter tops, tapped openings and door bells
etc.  On sliding glass doors check if doors or steps maybe in the
way.  Is there a deco pool drain on the floor surface? |

        |   |
        On
sliding glass doors or French doors determine if you plan to mount to
the floor or space below the door. |

        |   |
        What
is the mounting structure?  Concrete, CBS Block, solid wood or
        hollow wall. |

        |   |
        If
you are going to install the panels using a horizontal mount, the width
become the height and the height becomes the width. |

        |   |
        From
you measurements, you will have to determine how many panels per each
opening and the length of each panel. |

        |   |

Having a problem with a particular opening?  Take a digital
        pictures and email us. |

        |   |

        Double check all measurements. |

        |   |
        If
the lengths of the hurricane panels are within 1" - 2" and have no
special requirements, order the panels the same length.  Having
panels common sizes makes easier when putting up the hurricane panels.

        Frequently Answered Questions |

        |   |
        Yes,
Hurricane Depot will sell you tracks without purchasing our panels.
We want your business.  Not all hurricane panels will fit our
tracks.  Please read about the 2" header profile and the holes
being 6" and 12" on center.  If your hurricane panels have a 2"
profile but the holes are 12.5" apart our upper header panels will work
but we will have to cut them a little longer. |

        |   |
        Yes,
we highly recommend the aluminum panels over the any of galvanized steel
panels.  More on this subject to be found in the Frequently Ask
        Questions (FAQ Page). |

        |   |
        No,
we do not able to come out and measure your openings. |

        |   |
        No,
the width (14.5") of the panels is not important at all.  Consider
each panel will provide 12" of coverage.  Full hurricane panels can
be overlapped to form a half panel (6" of coverage). |

        |   |
        No,
we can not cut the a track for 3 panels @ 36" and still be able to get 3
hurricane depot panels on the track. |
