Hurricane Tracks |
|
Hurricane Depots carries 13 styles of tracks for hurricane
panels. Our upper header tracks will fit any hurricane panel with a 2"
profile. The 2" x 2" studded angle track has stainless steel studs ever
6". Some panels have holes on their ends 6.25" or 6.50". Our 2" x
2" studded angle track will not fit. One option is to use the F-track
with sliding screws. Please let us know when ordering the total number
of panels you are using per track. The tracks are available in white or
bronze powder coated finish. We also have 1", 2" and 3" build-out
U-header and F-tracks. |

|
Our 2"
h-header upper track has a flat upper lip and a thicker aluminum
extrusions compared to some other 2" h-headers on the market.
The sharper 90 degree angle of the front U part of the header gives
the track a more rigid feel and superior holding strength. (Double

Powder coating is a type of coating
that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference
between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the
powder coating does not require a solvent to
keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The
coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under
heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin." The powder may be a
thermoplastic or a thermoset polymer.
It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than
conventional paint. Powder coating is mainly used for coating of
metals, such as aluminum extrusions, and
automobile and bicycle parts.
