- Terms
Trapped - When an opening has an obstruction on the top and/or bottom
in which a full panel will not fit.
Trapped in width - An obstruction on either the left or right side of
opening.
Trapped in Height - An obstruction on either the the top or bottom of
opening.
Direct mount - Installing anchors into the wall and mounting the
panels using stainless steel screws.
- General tips
Measure from the outside of all opening.
Measure the width, then the height in round to the nearest.
Note any obstructions such as (Windows) - Decorative stucco
molding, electrical boxes, meters, counter tops, trapped openings, door bells, etc.(On
sliding glass doors/doors) Steps, door knobs
Note the structure in which the panels/tracks will be mounted into (concrete, block, wood
or hollow wall)
Panels can be installed horizontally using studded angles or direct mount. Measure
the left side from top to bottom as the width and the measure from left to right for the
height.
We recommend adding an additional 2" to the height when installing panels
horizontally or direct mount.
